On a two-acre estate at the very crest of the Santa Barbara Rivera with expansive views both towards the ocean-city and forested foothills, this 8,300 Spanish-Moorish style residence is nearly complete. With a state-of- the-art grey water system, photo-voltaics, solar heated floors, recycled beams and flooring and a sophisticated wireless control system, this home/resort is also a study in energy and water efficiency. In addition, nearly all the finish stonework that adorns this elegant composition was executed out of Santa Barbara sandstone directly harvested from the site during excavation.
