Story-Book Cottage

Far from neighbors and the noise of the city and hidden from the road by a deep grove of avocado trees, this 1,000 square foot Story-Book cottage is a study in efficiency, dripping with charm. The composition utilizes river rock from the site and hand-peeled fir posts as an exposed structural system, a copper standing-seam roof and shingle siding in a randomly placed pattern. The main house has not yet been built.
